of Commissioners for Corpus Christi Library site
- Presented Baby Grand
Piano to Corpus Christi High School in the Summer of 1911
- Club sponsored concerts
to raise money for the “piano fund” benefiting the 1911 gift to Corpus
Christ High School
- Club sponsored the play
“Texas Under Six Flags” to raise money for the “piano fund”
- Club gave reception to
public school teachers
- Club published first
“Study Program” for 1912-1913
- Club meets with other
federated clubs from the area to discuss the Fifth District Texas
Federation of Women’s Clubs meeting in Gonzales, area clubs in attendance
included Woman’s Literary Club of Kingsville, The Rosetta Club of
Beeville, The Woman’s Club of Aransas Pass, The Woman’s Country Club of
Normanna and Corpus Christi clubs The Altrurian Club, The Cosmos Club, The
La Retama Club, The Harmony Club, The South Bluff Civic Club and The City
Federation of Corpus Christi

Woman’s Monday Club
- Club studies included:
Southern History and Literature including The Missouri Compromise, Stories
by Uncle Remus; Modern Drama including “Elizabeth as the Patron of the
Drama and Literature,” and George Edward Bulwer-Lytton; The Playground
Movement, Modern Appliances, The Prevention of Blindness Among Infants
