$71.75. Special Edition of Caller netted the club $122.09. Sum of $500.00
given by Westervelt in wife's memory to W.M.C. Redmond & Tompkins to be
Trustees.
Letter of
condolence sent to Mrs. Woodrow Wilson on death of our President; very nice
letter in answer from her to club (3, 17, '24)
Born brought in
matter of Zero Mile Stone; to be given by club to city.
Mrs. Tompkins
endorsed by club for Fifth District President.
$5.00 monthly
given to support of La Retama Library by club. W.M.C. member, Mrs. Redmond
endorsed as State Federation President Club wanted to pay expense but Dr.
Redmond sent check of $20.oo as donation to assist club.
Oleanders
planted on Shell Road to cemetery in memory of those who paid supreme
sacrifice in First Word War by the W.M.C.
